Grand Hotel Oslo

The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the gym facilities were excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We recently had a romantic escape at a hotel in Oslo and there were a few aspects that we really liked. the historical vibes of the hotel added a charming touch to our stay. The building itself was beautiful and it had a perfect location right in the heart of the city. the staff at the hotel were lovely. They were friendly, accommodating, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Lastly, the breakfast provided at the hotel was delicious. We enjoyed a variety of options and it was a great way to start our day.

There were a couple of downsides to our experience. the view from our room was disappointing.

Arriving here, I was astounded by the luxurious decor and exclusive amenities. the service was exceptional, meeting all of my needs and ensuring a comfortable stay. the Spa and wellness center provided an excellent massage and steam room to unwind from a long day, while the bar/lounge area offered delicious drinks and a relaxing atmosphere. the location advantages were great for exploring the city.

The one minor issue I experienced was with the room's temperature control, as the air conditioning seemed to be malfunctioning. This made it difficult to sleep comfortably and enjoy the exclusive room advantages to their fullest.

The room was adequate, with a small but sufficient bathroom. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Centrally located. Stayed for 6 nights, would stay again.

Attentive and well-spoken staff, clean and cozy rooms, excellent breakfast compared to other hotels, lovely old brasserie restaurant, elegant entrance with marble columns, nice classic cafe atmosphere for breakfast.

The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station and in an excellent area. It is also within walking distance of the Central Station. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional, ensuring that all your needs are taken care of. The breakfast is scrumptious with a good variety of options. The rooms are elegant and modern, offering a spectacular view over the main square.

The room's temperature control was a bit challenging, and the floor heating was not functioning properly.

We loved the location, just a short walk to the center of the city and the national museum. The hotel facilities were great, especially the spa with its small pool, sauna, and steam bath. The breakfast selection was one of the best during our short stay with lots of fruit, cheese, bread, and the option to have a custom omelet made by the chefs. The staff was always available and friendly, providing excellent service at the restaurant and the front office.

Our Xmas stay at this hotel was amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel so welcomed. The location couldn't be better, right in the center of all the action. The beautiful interiors of the hotel added to the festive ambiance. The highlight of our stay was definitely the top-floor pool. It was uniquely designed and fine, with birch logs creating a serene and cozy atmosphere.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike about our Xmas stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect and was so great.

Located in the heart of the city, this hotel offers great accessibility to major attractions, including the harbor and national museum. It also provides swift access to everything you need to see. The hotel features immaculate rooms, with plush bedding and comfortable bathrooms. to the excellent service and breakfast, guests can enjoy a heated swimming pool and spa, and have free access to umbrellas. The rooms stand out for their larger sizes compared to other hotels.

The hotel can be noisy at times, especially with events taking place or restaurants being utilized for conferences or functions.

The hotel's central location, fantastic local transport options , great breakfast with a wide variety of choices, accurately described rooms, and perfect hotel facilities made our stay excellent.

The lobby of Grand Hotel had a beautiful and cute atmosphere. I enjoyed sitting in the restaurant and cafe, soaking in the pleasant ambiance. The location of the hotel was also excellent, putting me right in the heart of the touristy part of town.

While there were a few drawbacks, such as a tired-looking room with scratched paint on the walls and the lack of complementary water bottles and a vanity kit in the bathroom, these were minor inconveniences that did not significantly impact my overall experience.

Loved the location and room! The hotel is in a great spot close to many attractions and the train station. The spa on the 7th floor is a must, such a relaxing experience. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and there are plenty of restaurant options for lunch and dinner. The room itself was very comfortable and luxurious with a clean bathroom and a large bathtub. The decor in the rooms was classy and beautiful. In summary, a great choice for those looking for a big, old-fashioned, and classy hotel with a good location.
